About us - Beginning of BMA
The beginning of BMA
Let me share a personal testimony. Since my conversion in 1980 I have had a desire to be involved in a mission work. In 1990 I participated in a Conference for Evangelists in Woltersdorf near Berlin when I met a director of the German Wycliffe and invited him to come and share in Polish churches. Young people would often come to us after the meetings asking:
What can I do to become a missionary? or
"Is there any mission organization which helps people to get involved in mission? We would meet also older people who had been praying for years for Pols to be involved in the Great Commission outside Poland.
The Lord has been showing me the need to start a mission organization in Poland.
At the same time a group of people at the Theological Bible Seminary in Wroclaw has started preparations for the mission work in the former Soviet Union. What they needed was some kind of structure they could work under.

In
June 1995 the first BMA founding meeting took place.
Ustron was chosen as a headquarters of the organisation. In October BMA officially started its work.
